I don’t trust ANY politician, but I want to trust Tulsi. If this is a genuine change of heart on the 2A issue, I would consider supporting her. I would need to see a lot more from her. I agree with a comment below…she should just come out with her views, rather than teasing a change in position. It seems disingenuous.

Tulsi is a tough one to figure out. She’s good on war (for the most part), Snowden, Assange, etc. But I don’t really trust her. As you note in the article - she flip-flopped on issues she had a firm opinion on for years - med4all, free college, etc (albeit bad ones). And I certainly don’t trust her change in position on guns. But who knows? She might be getting better on guns. Like I said, tough to figure out lol.

I want to trust Tulsi. It IS hard to know what is up and what is down with

any politician. Speaking plainly and completely would help us understand her

better. Until then we are guessing and hopeful.

Great article, Reed. Many want Tulsi to be THAT person, a politician who “fixes” government. Just like the video she posted, it's all an illusion. She is an illusionist at this point. The whole “more to come” tease is unnecessary if she is genuine about these and other issues. I was not an initial supporter of Tulsi’s but I was open to hear her out. I honestly do not think her views have changed. She’s doing what she can to appease all of us. I'd have more respect for her if she ran at a state or local level. We already saw her in a congressional setting, and she even described her time in Washington as that of a high school setting. Many Americans are trying to reduce/shut down federal government. I don't see Tulsi being on board to do that. She is best to serve her state. Maybe then my opinion of her would change. Trust but verify 😎

Reed, thanks for the invite.

As you said, here and on IG, we have been consistent in our approach to Tulsi.

We haven’t heard an form of typical explanation (my advisors, my party platform, my concerns for victims) for her past positions, nor more than as passing comment on this possible change.

I did hear about T being denied a HI permit when stalked, threatened, and given a Capitol police protection detail.

“Insufficient Need” (just like thousands of inconsequential NYC residents).

My concern, is this heartfelt?

A true embrace of 2A?

Or is this “nuanced” as a Tulsi apologist said on IG: “those are licensed permitted weapons on a closed range under strict supervision and control - NOT on our streets!”

My fear echoes my tagline, the words of Malcolm X:

“Those who stand for nothing, will fall for anything.”

Is T changing for the better, or are we falling for something new?

I liken it to how you've expressed your feelings on Ron DeSantis.

I think she's a hot female Obama and she's going to finesse her way into centrist popularity and then quietly backstab everyone for some WEF horseshit.

Trading Tulsi for Liz Cheney, we know which side is the winner in that deal!

I don’t think she’s a fake politician.
